October in the Washington Cascades isn't for the faint of heart. The frost starts creeping in, the mornings bite a little harder, and the timber takes on a quiet, heavy stillness.
This is the final run of the Trail Feast x Benchmade 2026 series, and we’re going out swinging. We’re closing out the season with a menu that matches the landscape, deep, complex, and forged in the coals. This is a weekend for the die-hards. The ones who know that the best meals are the ones you have to shiver a little to get to.
Getting there is part of it.
No direct routes.
No easy way in.
4x4 only.
When you finally put your rig in park, Chef Chad White and crew will be waiting. Fires lit. Drinks poured. Dinner already in motion. Over the course of the weekend, guests will settle into a fully immersive basecamp experience built around open-fire cooking, shared meals, outdoor activities, and long nights around the fire. The centerpiece is a 10-course tasting dinner prepared in the dirt using the wild, coastal-inspired flavors that put Trail Feast on the map. You’ll break bread with strangers, pass bottles around the fire, and sleep under a sky that feels a hell of a lot bigger than the one back home. Somewhere in between, it becomes something you don’t forget.
